Driving my 360 today when the transmission light when on, the transmission went to neutral and I couldnt shift gears any longer (while going 70 mph). Pulled over, stopped the car and was able to get the car in neutral easily from a stand still. Put it back in gear and got home safely.

Any ideas on what caused this?

There is a couple of possibilities. These are two that I've had personal experience with.
The clutch or the input shaft speed sensor. Get the car hooked up to an SD2 and find out for sure.

Could be lot of reasons. Best one - low F1 fluid. Worse - clutch is about to end of life, coupling sensor, F1 pump, etc... Worst - hydraulic actuator...

Try also some search here in history - you will find a lot.
