I removed and replaced all the hydraulic lines on my 05 F430 transmission because the lines leaked. I labeled all the lines and the wiring connections upon removal and reconnected them accordingly. Started the car and allowed the hydraulic system to recharge and refilled the reservoir as needed while the car was on the lift. I turned off the engine and after an hour tried to restart it but it wont restart and says it's in 3rd. any clue?

There is a bleeding procedure that needs to be completed. An SD2/SD3 / Leonardo tool makes for quick work of this, but there is a thread on here under the 360/430 side that supposedly shows how to bleed without said tool.

You will have to search but I bet it will be worth it.

Thanks! Do you have a diagram of which hydraulic lines to what position under the tranny and the wiring to each magnetic actuator in case I crossed the lines and/or mixed up the connectors?

You will never get that to work without an SD3. You need to perform an actuator drain and centering, neither of which can be performed without the right equipment. The threads on here relate to replacing the pump, which is self-evacuating.
