    How do you watch the races if you are out of town for days on end?
    is there a website that you can watch the race after the fact?

    I TiVO the races, but more than once they don't get saved, and get bumped. I've missed 4 races this year because of this.

    I have an unusual work schedule. I'd love to be able to essentially watch the race in pieces (when time permits, as I do when home via TIVO), and actually get to see the whole thing.

    Any sites?

    thanks!

    In the absence of any other comments, I'll give it a go;

    - Live it's pretty easy to find a stream.

    - How many other folks "mess" with your DVR? I set mine such that "Formula one" is the highest priority, and don't delete until I say so - The only way I can see stuff getting bumped is if someone else is over-riding your settings or the thing is full (?) [Mines set to delete other stuff in that scenario btw....]

    - Once you've recorded it you can feed it to a "Slingbox" and watch from anywhere you've got a 'net connection - Exactly the same as if you were "local" to the DVR, ie, pause, rewind etc from the Slingbox app.

    - I *guess* there are illegal torrents available, but Bernie & his henchmen are pretty strict about shutting 'em down - I honestly reckon your best bet is to get your DVR set up "correctly".

    Cheers,
    Ian

    I'm not that tech savvy, and have 3 kids, all of whom DVR stuff.

    :eek: :)

    Sounds like you need some "parental controls" here....... You're (presumably ;)) paying the bill, so your stuff gets set to max priority. Then you set the kids access so as to not screw with that. Then it doesn't get deleted. Then you feed to Slingbox and your life is improved! Done job.

    :)

    Good luck,
    Cheers,
    Ian
