I had my F1 Warning shift light come on yesterday. I was doing about 80 in 6th gear. I could shift ok though. After about 10 minutes, it went out. Anybody have this happen or know what causes it.

A whole list of things could have caused it. What were you doing prior to the light coming on?

Driving 80 for 20 minutes with maybe a speed up to 100 real quick then again to 80...

Hopefully, you had warmed up the car properly before doing that.

I've driven my 360 at sustained 80MPH+ (with bursts above that) over an 1 hour stretch on road trips many times. That warning light has never lit up.

Low speed maneuvers with a lot of slip is what I had in mind. Could be the computer didn't pick up a signal from a sensor for some reason (happened to mine several years ago). I hate to speculate further about these problems because the causes may be different in each case. If it happens more than once under the same conditions, I'd bring it in ASAP for a checkup.
