Last of my old finds but certainly the loudest!!! LOVED being a part of the show for this car. Shook the whole building when it was started. Classiche requested these pics and descriptions of changes made prior to accepting it as a candidate for certification. While he had it, I do not remember if the owner pursued the cert after their replies. IIRC he was a bit miffed that other cars with similar modifications were slid through but he was instructed to be 100% original.

Pics are small from embedding into the old stupid template, but I'm proud of 'em nonetheless.

    From the "permission" document:

    History and Description of changes

Chassis # 44023 was the last BBLM in the model run.

The car spent most of its life in different museums so it has NO official race history. RL purchased the car
In 1999 it then competed in the “Shell Historic Series”

    Eng# 032 & Gbx # 031

    Engine Left:

    • Canton in-line oil filter for Gearbox fluid to improve gearbox life
    • Peterson Oil tank. Original tank had an internal oil filter screen that was clogged with debris and caused 2 engine failures. The Peterson was installed as no spare tanks are available
    • Koni direct replacement shocks. Original shocks were dead and had no rebound left
    Engine Right
    • Tilton gearbox fluid pump. Original pumps were inoperative. No spares available.
    • Goodridge steel braided line to replace original dry-rotted rubber hoses.
    Dash and Seat
    • Steering wheel and seat replaced for driver comfort
    Car Front
    • Radiator was replaced due to a leak that could not be repaired. Aluminum radiator was fabricated to the same dimensions as the original
    Front Suspension
    • Koni replacement shocks
    Rear suspension
    • Koni replacement shocks

I wish I could answer. Probably in boxes somewhere but they weren't at our shop...
