    came from a 78 GTB owned by a guy in Nc who raced it, cyl head stud holes are NOT stripped I removed a few cause I needed them. I think the asphalt story is a joke, not sure what was meant by that.

    Then, that is Not my old block,, the asphalt came from the oil, after the Engine fire.
    Whew,
    I think that block is a coffee table.

    The main caps were fine, they didn't get too hot, for they were on the bottom of that motor.
    LOL

    Your block is probably worth $ 400.00+
    Depending on ,,,,,,,??.
    Also,
    You have the external boss for the dry sump unit.
    So it will take a factory dry sump unit.

    And, I do have an extra front cover for that vintage... 1979
    Also, I have the lower Belt Drive Cogs and the correct Italian bearing and seal kit, for said cover.
