Well my F12 spot was allocated today scheduled for January production and April delivery. All options have been optioned but just can't figure out what colours to go with. So help me decide as both are very good looking.

Silver/red is great, for sure, I've seen that combo on other cars it works.

The other one is audacious, Not sure of the result in real life, but I'd be really curious to see how it would look.

More generally Argento is best suited for the F12 lines than TDF. Just my 2 cts.

That's very interesting thank you! Mhmm I definitely want this car to last and for the exterior to still look as elegant as it is so exposing the lines would definitely be a big plus.

If first Ferrari - traditional red/beige. If not - agree with others - argento/red would be awesome. Regardless, congrats on an awesome new car!

Argento/Red for sure, no question. Like a white F12, it will look absolutely amazing. The light colours really work well on the F12's shape. A dark colour like the TdF, just hides all the beautiful lines. Also, you won't get just another Rosso Corsa Ferrari, it will look classy, interesting and fresh. If red, the Rosso Fuoco, Rosso Maranello, Rosso Fiorano and Rubino Micalizzato is the way to go on an F12, as they really bring out the lines as well, especially the first two.

Oh, and standard or forged rims in silver. Will look much better than dark/black rims imo.

Of the two choices the first would get my vote. Argento looks great on the F12. I would go with a burdeaux interior rather than red.

    Cheers,

That sounds great! As long as you keep the top half of the dash and the headliner black or dark grey.

Silver/Red, however, I would avoid the white stitching and do all stitching in color. Red stitching on red seats, etc...

Wow love the suggestions! This is definitely not the first F car and won't be the last. Hmm red exteriors I find too common on ferraris and now it's almost dare I say boring?

Of the choices I went with the argento but I would suggest a mixed interior with black dash and black accents like black seatbelts and then red everywhere else. Black stitch or white stitch.

I agree. I had a 911 with total red interior and white stitching. Looked great, but the F12 interior is bigger and too much red might be, well, too much. I ordered a Cali T with Argento, red interior with black stitching and piping, black dash/seatbelts. Looks great on the configurator.

Black dash, steering wheel and belts. If not black carpet at least black floormats with red horses. Red stitching on the black. Black or red tach.

I'll be the contrarian in the group and say the TDF combo. Argento is gorgeous, but silver Ferraris are almost a little too..common, dare I say? (I dare, I dare.)

If you like blues, TDF is an outstanding color—especially on those V12 GT cars. Every now and again, I'll think I prefer some other Ferrari blue over it—until I see a car wearing TDF and fall back in love with it all over again.

But either one's a great choice.

Personally I don't think both are very good looking.

Here's an example of a full red interior, it's just too much (not even mentioning residuals):
Ferrari, F12, Berlinetta DCT auto te koop - AutoScout24

My opnion regarding your second choice; don't pick too many (contrasting) colors and materials for both the interior and exterior; seats, seatbelts, tunnel, exterior, stiching, headlining, c.f. no c.f. etc.

Here's an example of Blue scozia exterior (which is in itself is great), but with a cicolatto/cuio dash (terrible) and interior, crema stitching, yellow calipers etc. etc. It's all a bit too much.

But it's all IMHO, ofcourse ;-)

Taste is just like talent; you either have it or you don't. It can not be bought.
