    Hello everyone!
Firstly a big thank you to everyone, I have been lurking for a while digesting info before my purchase. I just picked up my first Ferrari, a 2016 F12...
Right now it’s so addictive I’m driving it every day, however I soon have some travels and will need to leave it for 10 days.
The car will be outside about 10m from a socket, so is it ok to run an extension cable from my socket into the boot then have the charger in the boot plugged in? I will need to keep the car locked.
    Many thanks

If it's anything like my Cali, this should be OK. This is what I do. Although I leave the charger outside the car (it's in a little waterproof box, like you'd use for storing clothes - see pic below). Also, since it our house is old, I plug the tender into a surge protector then into the house power...T

Many of the CTEK (OEM supplier) tenders are "water resistant". But I wouldn't want to test this. If possible I would rather not leave it inside the vehicle, just incase something happens. I think you will be OK running an extension cord, so long as its in good condition. I like the idea of using a plastic casing for it, so long as there is enough air for any cooling it needs.

Don't cars from that year have that magnetic charging attachment on the outside of the vehicle?
