    Just got a call from my dealership one of the break flap motors on the F12 stopped working. Never had any error lights or anything. The F12 was in for some paint repair and they had to remove the bumper, when it went back on, they break vents would not shut. Has anyone had this issue before? The quote to fix it is like $10K...seems crazy.

    I am wondering if there is a easier way to fix the part or something else. Any advice would be great.

    I had this issue as well since I drive all seasons. The dealer said it was seized due to salts etc and some corrosion. They ultimately cleaned the part and greased it etc. haven’t had issues for couple years. If your dealer won’t do it. I’d have an independent try initiating. It and try troubleshoot.

    I second that, Mine happened 40k miles back and was cleaned and greased by an independent, and no problems since. 10k quote is absurd.

    Thanks, taking to an independent this week for a look. Would try to clean myself if I had a lift. Unless anyone knows if it can be accessible without.
