    Please can anyone tell me, if I can connect a sat nav and a usb extension for a phone into the cigar lighter without blowing a fuse, there are plenty of extension cables with up to 4 usb slots on the market but I don't want to overload the cars cigar lighter socket?
    I will be doing a fairly long trip in a few months and the F12 sat nav is not very user friendly [ or I am getting too old ] and I will have my I pod in the usb slot in the car [ to keep my wife occupied ].
    I am sure she will want to be on her phone at the same time, and it is never charged up [ or at least that is what she tells me, when I have tried to call her ] !

    Have not solution but thks to let me smile... Seems you are having a trip with my wife lol..

    For f12 have not idea , but with my actual Maserati ghibli if you use a doulbe charger seems just One cable works

    Yes you can and you can you a USB adopter for the lighter plug too if your sat nav has a USB connection. When I do long trips I use both the USB plug and lighter plug with two phones and sat nav and ipod connected.
