    Hi all,

I've been in the market for an F12 for some time to use as a daily driver/grand tourer. I have seen a couple cars in the color combination I like pop up, but always with the sport seats/racing buckets rather than the normal style F12 seat. Given that I intend to use the car as a daily driver, a comfortable seat is a must.

If any F12 owners could weigh in on the relative comfort of one type of seat versus the other, I would be very grateful for your insights. if it matters, I'm more or less an average size (6 ft and 180lbs.)

    Thanks in advance!

Racing seats are great and extremely comfortable. Had both and Racing are better ..

Have full electric with heated seats and lots of adjustments. You can customize all aspects of the fit to your body for both driver and passenger which for me makes it a no brainer if comfort is a must.

Tireman: can you elaborate on why you find the racing seats to be better?

I have racing seats (large) in my F12 and they are very comfortable even during longer drives. If they are better than the standard seats is a personal preference but they definitely looks a lot better and are more comfortable when driving the car little harder.
I wouldn't be worried about buying a car with the racing seats, on the contrary I would look for a car with the racing seats.

Thanks for your advice Magnus, it's very encouraging and I think I may pull the trigger on an F12 with race seats.

So I guess now you'll need to ask owners which size race seats are most comfortable for you since they come in different sizes and are not adjustable? Thinking this would be important for you since comfort is your highest priority.

I assume size large. I'm not a big guy by any means, but in the past I've always been more comfortable in the large Ferrari racing seats. Anything smaller would seem like an uncomfortably tight fit.

My F12 has racing seats and I just drove it from Northern CA to Los Angeles, which was like 400 miles and 6 hours. It was totally comfortable.

Have had both in my cars. Have electric Daytona in my F12 now. One thing to keep,in mind is if you are tall or long legged the racing seats are more comfortable/accommodating. The electric only go back/down so far.

I looked for racing seats and wound up with electric as above. They are also comfortable.

I will be the protagonist for non-race seats.. I opted for the fully electric daytona's, after driving a few F12s with race seats before I bought mine. I like the Daytona seats with full way adjustment. I thought they were by far... I mean far more comfortable. The race seats were ok, and also look great.. I wanted them bad. But I also drive my F-cars, and I like the multiple adjustments, lumbar, side bolsters, heated, etc. adjustments. It allows you to fiddle with them more, and get it just right and also way more padding.

You can't go wrong with either, but if you want more luxury in your GT, I think going fully electric Daytona is a good option...

I’m 6’5”, 245ish and have the size (L) seats in my F12, 458, and retrofitted a pair to my 360 spider- they’re very supportive and comfortable; I’d not have bought a car without them.

    Good luck

6’ 215 lbs. I have racing seats. They are very comfortable. No problem on a long night drive. I have a Porsche GT3 RS with the lightweight bucket seats. Hard to get in and not nearly as comfortable as the Ferrari.

I am 6-2/190lb. My F12 has standard seats. Not enough comfortable. Am seeking racing/sport seats, but dealer disappoints. Best.
