Thanks for info - Mark directed me to a post with all the codes. You and I are probably looking at either late Jan delivery or early Feb. Like you said patience!

The line is indeed moving fast - Last Monday was at Status 40 and today my dealer told me Status 60!!
Hope that the QC is not compromised at this pace.

Any pictures yet? I have to check to see if I'm at 60 yet - we've been tracking pretty close. I have not gotten any yet. What is your spec?

The only pic I got was the framework at status 40 in primer. I think we should be pretty close to each other in status number.

    Spec is pretty basic:

    White
    Grey 5 spoke rims
Cuoio w/ Daytona seats with Nero stitch and Nero stripes and horse
    Nero carpets
    CF steering with CF bridge
    Suspension lifter
    Afs and parking cameras
    Shields

Once it arrives I'll get the radar detector, tints and front end clear wraps done. What do u guys think of something like LoJack or something similar in terms of gps locator - yes or not needed?

    What's your spec?

Major hurdle! Finally got first picture this morning 13.5 months after my order went in. Wow. Whether it's actually my car or not doesn't even matter - at least know I know it's built. Stay tuned

Good Morning. As fellow member of the awaiting in expectation club ( my order was submitted in mid July), I can not help but wonder why it has taken so long to build your car. While my specs are a bit more mundane than yours, there is nothing in the list that you posted that would appear to justify a delay such as you have endured. Is this truly what I should look forward to? Has anyone from either your dealership, FNA, or Maranello offered any explination or, God forbid forbid, an apology?
My mother always told me that I am a person of multiple and far reaching virtues, but patience somehow was overlooked on my option list.

Its frustrating, but they know they don't need to apologize, because they know that if you don't buy the car and wait it out they will sell it to someone else. I don't agree with it, but thats just how it works. I did hear that the huge hold up was paint. More and more people are going with triple layer/non-standard paints that have to be done outside of the factory and they are at full capacity.

Hello Chase, Perhaps my choice of Rosso Mugello will help unclog the works, after all it's not even metallic !

Actually there is a fair amount of customization detail that added time, aside from the triple layer paint, which accounted for signicant delays. The dealer, FNA, and the factory have been very fair and helpful. A big part of the problem was communication coordination difficulty between Tailor made, FNA, and the dealer. Contrary to what one might think FNA has been in constant contact with me and has been very solicitous.

Regarding the paint, is this true for even Historic flat paints or just the triple layer? I ordered Rosso Bordeaux which cost an extra $30,000. Maybe this is also applied outside of the factory?? For that price, I would hope there is something special about it!!!

It sounds as though you have had a very favorable experience. I only hope that I can be as forbearing.

    Nice!
I love that color, and wrestled with myself for awhile before settling on Titanio.

    What interior did you do?
