preowned cars for sale dealers are asking $80 to 100k over sticker what have you heard is the going markup on new and pre owned? I've heard 50k over sticker from people that ordered their cars thanks
My F12 is completed and on the water. Left factory several weeks ago. Ordered on 4/29 was to be a July build September delivery. Ferrari surprised my dealer and me with it being completed in June.
No markup. 4 months production and delivery from date of order. Even got a pretty decent discount. Dealers in NA are crooks. Every dealer is capable of giving the exact same delivery date and discount unless you live in a Metropolitan city where people have cash and the orders are backed up. Just go to a dealer in a different city/state with less demand. Hopefully, you can find one with ethics and place your order accordingly...
The good thing about Ferrari North America is that it doesn't allow mark-up on new cars. I don't know about Ferrari in other continent. And if you want to get a new Ferrari from other state, all you need is an address in that state. When the car arrives, just simply do procedures like you are moving, nobody can stop you.
The dealer is going to investigate your adress ? And even if he does this , the people who order a brand new ferrari usually have several homes...
Of course he gets your address, you can provide different one if you have it and some people take advantage of it when they own multiple residences. Someone mentioned FNA requiring from dealers sales at MSRP. They do, they also "accept" donation( at the time of sale) of the above mentioned (or more) $50k contribution to their Motorsport Division.....
do you have direct proof/examples of that happening? sure, lots of guys get talked into a challenge car and race weekends at $30-50k a pop, but giving a "donation" to their racing program with nothing in return seems far fetched. then again we are talking about Ferrari here....
New from the dealer is around $380K here in Dubai. Secondary market examples sell for approximately the same for low mileage cars. Reason probably is that there are a lot of cars available for a relatively small market so dealers can't add high mark ups.
It's just one of the tactics to bypass the factory restrictions, if you believe otherwise you must be really unaware of the US market situation. What do you want me to do?? Supply you with hidden camera footage and sworn testimony of people involved??? There is simply way too much $$ left on the table to ignore. Lets get real.....
Customers with multiple previous purchases are paying MSRP Anyone with No or very little purchase history pay 50k premium
I would not pay over MSRP at this point - premiums in the US are history for the F12. Quite a few preowned hitting the market, with asking $$$ usually $25K to $50K over sticker. They are not exactly flying out of the showrooms at those prices! As always, patience pays off - F12's stateside will soon all be well under MSRP for preowned cars.
if anyone wants one im pretty sure I can get u a new one without a wait...u can order it as u like...just pm me
