F12 normal seats just a hair too tall for me - race better?

    Test drive a f12 today. It had the normal seats and even with the seats all the way down and back my hair brushed against the ceiling and I couldn’t lean my head back to “relax” without hitting the bulkhead.

    do the race seats fix this by giving another inch or so more height?

    Alternatively, is the ff or gt4lusso set up in such a way that there is more headroom?

    .... or will v12 Ferrari’s be forever a forbidden fruit like Lamborghini's are?

    You need the size Large CF racing seats. I'm 6'5" long in the torso and fit well in my F12, but only because I have those seats.

    The CF seats WITHOUT lifter will give you an additional 2.5 inches or so. You also get more leg room as the seats are thinner. The Lusso is totally different. Loads of room everywhere.

    Lambos are utter rubbish inside. I'm 181 and normal north Euro proportioned and weigh 75 kg. I don't fit properly in Lambos. Poseur cars...

    New Huracan Sports seats fit most nicely. RWD with a NA V10 is a win in my books

    Are race seats as desirable on an F12 as they are on the mid engine cars? I would think the standard seats would match the theme of the car better.

    Certainly not as much as in a mid engine car. However, there is still a good market for it, they are just stunning. I will definitely spec racing seats in my next V12 GT (or whatever replaces it...).
    They are also surprisingly confortable to most.
