Is there an option code for the black/dark tailpipes? Haven't seen one.

Can you refinish the stock tailpipes similarly? What is the recommended process?

The vast majority of the F12s have them in silver but from time to time you see (especially more higher spec cars) with black/dark tailpipes and those seem to suit the car so much better, similar to the 812...

    Thanks for info!

i have a similar question. Can you order OEM black tailpipes for the F12 or are you better off having the factory silver ones refinished. Thanks!

that is exactly what I was looking for. The satin silver just don’t go with any part of the spec on my F12. They also look kind of dirty/burnt. Will call the parts department

Agree on the matte finish. Called my local Ferrari dealer and they are looking into it. Will post what I find. Should be fairly easy to send out for ceramic coating if they don’t offer OEM parts.

Are you sure there are not just a bit dull? I know mine can get pretty dull, especially after the rain. But it would shine right back after a good wash and a bit of polish on a microfiber cloth.

I use a degreaser on my titanium tips as they do get dark or stained with soot. The degreaser works great.

will definitely try that first. Have not tried to clean them I just assumed they were permanently stained as the rest of the car was spotless at the dealership when I went to see the car. I still think either chrome or black would look better with my spec as there is no other satin silver tones on the car but that is just me.

I'll have to look this weekend but went through my photo collection of mine. They look much darker than the silver posted. Matches with the Grigio Silverstone color.

I ask myself if the "satin silver" ones are not titanium made?
This "yellowish silver" looks like my ZX12R's Akrapovic exhaust.

I just washed my car tonight (the grigio silverstone a few posts up) the pipes are definitely black.
