    Just my take:

Everyone has a different tolerance for reflections on the dash. I have a very low tolerance for wheels out of balance, etc, but for some reason I find a cuoio or other colored dash really doesn't produce much distraction for me. And I agree it looks very rich and in the case of cuoio very buttery. It plays up the luxury element of the car.

And if we are playing that up, then I think going with the leather LED steering wheel is the way to go. As is the suggestion for alcantara carpets. Perhaps have them make you two sets. One set gets put away and in storage and is used when you want to see the car in like new condition and the other set can take the use. I also like the LEDs. I find them much more useful than trying to look at the tach out of the corner of my eyes. I can easily see the LEDs lighting up and when its a good time to shift. Of course the best way is by feel and sound. It is a Ferrari after all :)

Parking sensors are nice to have, I think especially rear are nice to have along with the camera.

I didn't see hifi or sat radio, if you have some extra play money maybe you can add those?

You have a really beautiful spec, enjoy it.

I'd ask him to take the dealer cost of that $6,000 off the price of the car instead.

Nice idea but dealer probably needs the options on the car to hit a sales value target so that discount probably is not going to happen

Yes, but why not have a little fun with it? :)

    > since your order is not final yet, uncheck the Daytona seats and go back to standard. Then a couple days later change your mind again and decide you want the Daytonas after all. Obviously the $6K will apply towards them... obviously!

    > tell the dealer, no thanks, I have the options I wanted, so why don't you donate the $6K to [insert the name of a suitably heart-rending charity here].

    > Ask them if a 2015 Master's ticket with a Berckman's Place pass can be added to the Ferrari options list

+1 I have had 2 Ferraris with couio dashes and have not had any issue with glare at least no more of an issue than I have with black dash cars I have owned.

Great spec. Probably the way I'd spec it myself except I'd go with a black upper dash and yellow calipers.

    Sneaky!

Unfortunately, the "gift" is conditional on the final car price staying the same or higher.

In my opinion only, I really like a car that has only one interior color including carpets, steering wheel, dash etc - it seems to me to make the car more pleasing to the eye - not so cut up - again, my opinion only

Suggest the dark grey finish for your rims - I think it will compliment the Titanium paint better.

Agree with alcantera for carpets (in black) - classy.

    Like the spec otherwise.

    Damn, they think of everything.

BTW, the full cuoio interior looks fabulous in the rendering and in Raider's pic. My guess is that with the way the windscreen is raked there won't be any reflection problem. I wouldn't hesitate for a second. (I left the top of my F12 dash black but on the basic of economics, not aesthetics).

I have a cuoio dash in my FF and it is NOT a problem at all! When it is time, my F12 will be the same, cuoio everywhere with crema inserts in the doors, seats, and headliner.

My steering wheel is also cuoio and I might think about standard black there, not because of dirt but the non-black steering wheels are covered with thicker leather that is not perforated and the horn buttons become very hard to press quickly ... this is comparing my FF to both of the Californias that I owned.

+1 I feel the dark gray finish would improve the overall look too but either way it still looks great. What a car! I bet it is going to be a long summer for you waiting for it :)

You asked for comments otherwise I would keep my trap shut. These cars are so personal and everyone has their own opinions/preferences.
    First, gorgeous car.
    Second, congrats.
I get that you want everything cuoio. So, you don't need to hear anything to the contrary. I would opine that you re-visit the carpet issue however. On this forum you can be guaranteed of only one unanimous opinion: Ferrari carpets are a joke. So, if you are going cuoio and trying to stay elegant/classy, please consider cuoio alcantara for the carpets. The mats take all the wear and are readily replaceable. As has already been commented on.(Andrew @ exoticare has alcantara mats that match. He can even do a diamond stitch, logo, cavallino or model number as well on them.) Net, in a >$350K car, I think replacing the standard carpet with the extra cash they are giving you is where I would use some of it.
If I had it to do over, I would not have spent the $1200 to have back lower wall of spider done in leather. I would have done alcantara carpets which would have covered this same area. And looked just as good in an albeit different way.
My personal bias for wheels is the brighter/standard finish on the option wheel. I get the monochromatic look of the darker wheels. And I get the look of the forged wheels that my buddy has on his F12. But, I think the brighter finish brings out the metallic in the paint more than the monochromatic look. But hey, no choice is a bad one of all the ones you are choosing between. I find the hardest choices in spec are in areas where several options work. You just keep second guessing yourself.

Update on my F12 order. Order went Red 10 on April 29th as a 2015. Production was to start in July with US delivery August or September.

Got a call from my dealer today, the car went from Red 10 to Status 50 and looks like ti will be done early July.

Anyone know what status 50 is?

    Thanks.

Looks like we have similar time frames. I went red 10 late May and was notified of status 30 May 27th. The car went to status 50 last week. This useful forum link has the different statuses descriptions:

Wan't sure where to post this but I have an F12 on order (2015) that is to be a July production car and I just got the following from Ferrari (Has anyone seen this before?)

    Dear xxx,

We are pleased to inform you that the production of your Ferrari has started!

In your reserved area in the Ferrari.com | My Ferrari website the first picture of your car on the production line is now available.

You can find you car’s picture in the section: My Car on production line.

For further information or clarification, please write to: [email protected]

    Best regards,
    Ferrari.com Staff

When I went to see my car in production, it then asks me for a PIN number which I don't have. They make this to complicated.

I would call your dealer and ask if they can get the PIN. Btw- Congratulations to both of you!
