F12 Paint Mods

Anyone else customized their F12 with a little paint?

- Black and yellow painted stripes on both aero bridges
- Painted rear side mirrors gloss black (centre strip left grey)
- Painted center portion of rear end gloss black (4 panels)

new clear coat applied so no lines, bumps, wrinkles or bubbles like with a wrap!

My F12 has a Nero Daytona color and I was thinking of adding this:

I was also think of adding a center red stripe such as:

I like the red stripe across the aero bridge but, when u combine that with a center red stripe, it looks a little too overdone. I think u should do one or the other, not both (imho).

 

The yellow and black really break the flow of the car. I don't see the value.

 

I like the yellow and black stripes. They do need to be thin so as not to distract. The rear treatment also reminds one of how much interest was lost in the treatment of the rear of the more Lexus-like TDF.

 

I like this one. Amazing!

 

Black Daytona color with a red stripe
Painted the Italian flag on the mirrors
Ferrari emblems in red
Painted center console, air vents, cup holder, door handles in black
Wheels painted in black matte
Capristo exhaust + X-pipe + Remote (sounds great)
What do you think ? Is it too much ?

If it feels good stick with it. But, since you asked...I would add CF center caps and change the front and rear cavallino's to black or back to chrome.

 

How did you get the Ferrari and horse in Red on the back of the car? Are they wrapped?

 

The car was fully re-painted using the original color from PPG. The emblems were completely removed and painted in corsa red.
