    Hello
Going to check out a 2017 F12. I searched but could not find a good list of KNOWN issues to look for on the F12.
Can anyone direct me to a ‘list’ of issues to evaluate before I send her for a PPI.
I like to rule out issues / educate myself before I send a car for a PPI and waste time and money.
    Thank you in advance.

I'd keep an eye out for...
Dash leather drying and coming loose
    headliner falling down
    Soft touch finish becoming sticky
Bubbling from under the paint on either or both rear 1/4 panel vents
Leather on rear cargo area coming loose on the underside of the panel

As above check for the following:

Paint bubbles on the wheel facing lip of the lower rear wing and in the back corners of the door well where it meets the sill.

The high pressure steering pump hose for weeping - they have a tendency to fail.

See if the third break light seal has been replaced with the updated part as the old design ones leak water into the rear hatch.

When the battery was last replaced. They last no more than 2 years if you're doing over 6k miles per year and the OEM ones even less. This is worse in hot climates as the engines run very hot and bake the batteries.

Listen for a very faint whine from either of the rear wheels - might not be a wheel bearing - could be the gearbox.

See if there are any fault codes for the front brake cooling flaps - these fail.

As far as I know (owning a nov 2016 f12) the paint issue and sticky buttons have been solved after the update. Could be wrong though so never hurts to check.
