Apparently they won't be bumping up the production...

Here is a great example of short term ownership - Ferrari gets to claim their sales are completely saturated, but the reality is that it is a short term bond market

Maybe he just realized that openly saying such a thing is a betrayal of his current user base!

Or maybe he realized that trying to explain how they would get from 7K to 10K was going to get rather, um, tricky! :)

Unfortunately, that is untrue, at least in our case. Our goal was to keep the F12, we loved it. F12 took longer to arrive, and Speciale arrived much earlier than we had originally planned hence the short duration.

Every other car we've bought has been driven, lots of mileage and depreciation.

I am sure there are plenty of people who buy-hold-flip, just don't assume that was us

found an F12 here in the US i am interested in. Seems there are 20+ cars that have a $50K or more premium to MSRP.

any educated guesses as to what a realistic price ought to be....one I am eyeing is the color combo I have been looking for. At the same time not looking for a $100K+ hit in depreciation for being too aggressive?

    thanks

There were MSRP cars listed on eBay recently.

That's interesting, considering that in the US there remains quite a meaningful wait to order a car and get it at MSRP. I've heard that F12 allocations to some US dealers are down in recent months from what had been expected.

There's one or two currently listed under MSRP with Buy It Now on eBay, though the MSRP is a higher one and I'm assuming they are telling the truth.

And so there are. Actually not a bad selection. I think if you were just at the point of thinking of starting the ordering process for a new F12, there's much there to sorely tempt you.

There still seems to be cars trading over sticker the cars at or around sticker seem to be 2013s and the 14s and 15s run higher.. doesn't matter I bought mine to drive and have been doing so .. These are great cars the car has a spectacular sound particularly at higher RPMs so far during my ownership we have not had many warm days so been dealing with cold tires.. but this is one bad *** car.. very fast ... and comfortable..
    love it so far..

    Good to hear Larry ...
Just wish Ferrari would stop filling Uk market, there is going to be a big 458 correction soon, with 1100 cars sold , and dealers trying to meet quotas it seems on the V12 cars, hence the discounts at some of the outlets on new dealer stock.

Lambo show the way with the Aventador in Uk, early cars still selling at close to list however the Huracan though looks to be a problem, with many cars available. Sensitive market the premium sports one. But Ferrari should not be discounting on new cars. Slippery road.

Maybe they should send a few more to the USA....

Definitely send more to the U.S. Here in Germany you can take a late 13 or early 14 F12 with less than 10,000 km for 40-50k € or more off new price. Those number could double for the same car in the next year.

Love my f-12 just wish I didn't live in Chicago. They are not shipping many to the US. My dealer got 6 F12's for all of 2014. I feel fortunate one of this is mine.

Since the F12 is now 3 years old the "gotta have it now" crowd are probably losing their enthusiasm
My prediction is 100k of list for used 2013's soon after deliveries of the 458M take place :)

I wonder if they star increasing allocations due to the 15% appreciation in the USD relative to the EUR. Would have a big impact on profits.

I think nearly new F12s at Ferrari dealers in the US are trading right around list. I heard of one selling the other day at a major dealer at it was right around list.

My 2014 11,000 miler currently caked in road salt however is another story ...

FYI, if my dealer can get more allocation from Italy they would sell everyone at Msrp.

Not sure why Ferrari flooded Europe when other markets have so few cars.

Not a chance. Just had my 2013 appraised. Still well over list. They are THAT good. Are you an F12 owner or are you looking to buy someday?

In Canada, more specifically Vancouver the used F12s that have been sold recently have still been way over list and mileage is around 5000-8000. Canada still barely has any F12s
