I’ve seen so many great pieces of advice here so I’m going to ask

My reverse button, the entire button including the silver housing around it that sits in the carbon bridge, is loose. When I press it , the housing slides back slightly in the bridge itself

Is there an easy fix for this (I’m tempted to crazy glue the bottom….) that doesn’t require Ferrari service to pound me ?

Also, my sales rep mentioned that Ferrari has a 10 year oxidation warranty and is going to try and get my paint damage covered under that warranty, where the vent meets the paint, as it’s a well known fault. Anyone been through this ?

    Thanks as always for assistance

If it's loose, my best bet would be that there is a broken tab behind it. You should just remove the bridge and check on the other side. The button only can probably be had for not much (I believe it is shared with other brands as well). You might need to remove the button top and swap it onto the new button to keep the "R".
If you are lucky it's just a loose screw.
Many have had the paint touched up because of the oxidation. Some have also added some plastic washers between the metallic mesh and the aluminium body to avoid the cathodic effect.
