Anyone on here have a 458 and and the F12? My 458 shifts way more aggressive in Race than my F12. Almost like when you hit a turbo button in a video game. My F12 is nothing like this and definitely take a split second longer to get to the next gear. Is this normal? I really wish my F12 shifted like my 458...

I didn’t have both at the same time. If I remember correctly, yes the F12 shifts softer even in the most aggressive setting.

My F12 shifted like a F’ing banshee. Here is a good vid of another F12 shifting for reference:

That is how mine shifts... and that is not as fast as a 458 shifts :(

I have never driven a car that shifts like a 458. It literally accelerates when you hit the paddle. No delay.

    Hi Chad.
Well, I understand where U R coming from.
I am a F12 owner, don't own a 458 but drove the car enough. Personally I think the 458 is the most agile in its class (outstanding!)
But don't forget that the F12 is a Grand Tourer + the wieght difference.
    It is hard to compare.
But I get what U mean;)

This is a video of my old car, if you take a listen from about 9mins in you will get an idea of the F12 shifts. It was just for fun so please don't knock the camera skills, and I did not roll the car at the end just the camera :) I was in sport on a cold but sunny day.

i had 458 spider now f12. yes i agree the f12 is softer on the shifts in race mode. i think a lot of it has to do with the GT chassis and sound dampening. the speed however should be the same. f12 shifts just as fast as 458 but with less violent jerking.
