As symphonic as the TDF already sounds with its 12 angelic trumpets, I’m looking to augment the sound and increase pitch a bit. Novitec seems to be the most common option plus/minus hi flow cats and X pipe.
I actually have Kline 200 cell cats along with Novitec X pipe and Novitec exhaust on my FF, which sounds amazing.
However, I’m thinking of trying something different with the TDF.
I’ll be installing Kline 200 cell cats, IPE X pipe and keeping the backbox stock.
    Has anyone tried this?

Beautiful photo, with your reflectors painted body color, it would be perfect !

Eddie - Get in contact with Gintani in Van Nuys. Given what they can do with the SVJ exhuast, I can't imagine what they would come up with your TDF.

Gintani is interesting, they do make great exhaust notes for the Av platform. But I always thought the Av exhaust note sounded a bit synthetic, as compared to the Bizzarrini engine of the Murcies and back forth.
My goal is to maintain the purity of the TDF exhaust note as it sounds quite nice in stock setup. But I’d like to clean up the sound in terms of higher pitch, tone and increase volume.

My 2 Speciales are both decat’d (one with headers back) and quite loud enough.
I also don’t want to deal with a CEL and want to keep the TDF closer to stock, hence keeping the stock exhaust. If it isn’t loud enough, then yes on the Novitec back box.
Ferrari NA V8’s and V12’s sound very different. I feel the V8’s really need to be woken up, whereas the V12’s sound sublime but perhaps may need a slight pick up.

Congrats on an amazing spec!!! What a stunning car :)

You've done the right thing getting an X pipe and sport cats on the car. 100-cell can be a bit lairy, 200-cell is good for a usable volume level.

We recently did Novitec inconel boxes, x pipe and 100-cell cats and it was absolutely amazing - but probably more than you'd want day-to-day.

Here's a vid of me discussing it:

Looking forward to seeing some videos ;)

Did you install this? How do you like it?

Anyone else with aftermarket exhaust on their TDF?
