F12 tdf market price thread

The Taycan is a gimmick car, the 0-60 time is very quick (in the turbo s) because of a special boost mode that lasts less than 3 seconds, in the 0-124 pull it is a full 2 seconds slower than the 812 and nevermind top speed is 40+mph slower in the Taycan.

600 miles range is a pipedream, will only possible when driven very sensibly, but Porsche has a very long way to go to get anywhere near 600 miles range (with current tech car would weight would exceed 6500 pounds, which is not possible because no tires can handle that weight and high speed) they are already using 800v system, etc.

As for charging network, the very last place will be in the high driving excitement areas...and even then, prepare to wait a while especially if these EV cars ever become popular, you can spend hours simply waiting in the queue

I can totally see that in your world, the UK, seems some areas will simply remove the interior roadways so only pedestrian/non motorized transport can occur (EV won't matter, no motorized transport allowed)

Can't imagine what this would have felt like if I was in the bear pit with the big boys in Monterey. Things just lined themselves up too well for this car: argento, auction ended on my birthday today, stripe, hifi (must have option for me yeah I said it!), and she was 4 miles away from me. I figured with covid, being online only (so not as many eyes or people rightfully distracted), in silver which is a sleeper color for such a grand car, I had a fighting chance near current market prices. When they were above 1M not a chance

For now have a big bill to deal with next week, and back to dealer for a new battery and new tires

Going to hold onto the Speciale as best as I can for the time being to have them as a pair!

 

I have to respectfully disagree. I have a two month old taycan turbo s (bought to be a commuter) and have owned several Ferrari v12’s including a recent delivery of a GTS. If I had to pick one it would be the GTS but the Porsche is a very, very nice car and it’s handling has really surprised me. It drives way more like a 911 than a panamera....I think it’s a pretty stunning piece. And I plug it in every night and have 220 miles of range in the am. And...I would still pick the GTS . More importantly....huge congrats to Sam!

Thanks for the advice Jerry I'm definitely all ears. Braille AGM and MPS4S (I think this is the OEM Michelin, not Cup2) + alignment will definitely be done as soon as I can get the car to the dealer
