Mortals don't buy a P1, just like the LAF the replacement battery costs are ridiculous as well. Owners will say it's worth it though.

This is simply untrue, do you think it's coincidence that the Pista came out with almost the exact specs of the 720. Ferrari is the king but they most certainly are competing for dollars and reputation. Not all enthusiasts can afford to have multiple super cars from different mnfrs.

If you look back at this thread, the disrespect started a lot sooner.

I was accused of saying 'untruths' simply because the Senna owners didn't like the answers I gave so I was enticed to produce proof which I did (depreciation).

Then because I dared to question someone who has owned multiple cars an amateur sleuth checked my FChat history to try and out me as someone who has little knowledge and presumably should not be entering into the conversation, pathetic.

If you chose not to accept the well established fact that McLaren are the least reliable and generally the most costly to repair superbrand out there you are kidding non-one but yourselves. If on the other hand you accept this truth and are happy to swallow the costs then all power to you.

For some reason the Senna posters on here are desperate to convert the whole world to their POV without much success I might add.

Forums are a public space to ask questions / advice and expect answers, you can't control the answers.

I mean, resorting to commenting and then post editing ..... feels like I am back in school.

I didn't see your prior posts but this one is so whacked it's not worth responding to. I can see why people took issue with your prior posts.

Perhaps you could take the time to explain to me in plain terms exactly what you mean so there is no confusion?

Out of "whack", not reality at least not for people who have first-hand experience like myself.

For me TdF all the way - Beautiful, rare, sick fast, track beast, still a worthy/livable road car / styling cues from the greats (365 GTB/250 GTO etc.). Senna to me is basically the Millennium Falcon of a road car - Brash, unforgiving, insane to look at (matter of taste), bizarre, PITA to drive anywhere but a track - BUT will blow people's minds and draw a crowd at any event or gas station - Plus it's got the GOAT's signature and namesake which makes it cool but for me the F12 TdF would be my choice - if I were fortunate enough to have to make a choice - ha! Cheers :)

I'd prefer a TDF as well because a street car is not a race car no matter how you slice it. The Senna is cool though just not for me.

On the contrary - Senna owners who placed a deposit are well past depreciation or appreciation they are buying into the program.

Befriend a Senna owner and be a passenger - afterwards the acceleration corner g's and braking have you soiling yourself - come back and post about depreciation mechanical issues. Fact is the Senna & LT are as fast an SF90 but with two wheels and 1000 lbs less weight. Oh and it's not bragging if it's true. I look forward to my SF90 812 GTS and now that both are ordered this section won't see me again - peace out!

I don't think anyone questioned the Senna track times, yes it's fast. However, there is clearly a language barrier here playing a part in the shenanigans.

I expressed an opinion on McLaren vs Ferrari. Not the person who likes or hates the Senna. Anyone is free to agree or disagree with my opinion. When someone says “Ferrari cannot compete with McLaren, it is that simple”, I can always answer “Ferrari does not need to compete with McLaren, it is that simple”. I am speaking about the cars, not my fellow FChatters and I never made it personal.

To be called a clueless liar, by anyone without knowing me is disrespectful. Telling him he has no manners is not, it is a statement of fact. You commenting under my post instead of the person who started it demonstrates bias, unless of course you believe his comment was appropriate

My friend was over at Thermal a few weeks ago with Ogara and he had the pleasure of seeing your collection. He send me the pictures and I have to say sir, you have an awesome collection of cars from all brands!

I don't track my cars very often, so I don't buy dedicated track cars but I do agree that the Senna GTR is awesome to drive on track. I opted not to get the GTR version since I would only track it once or twice a year, hence I got the street version Senna LM. The 918 Spyder is also another great street car on the track, but you do feel the weight of the car on track. If you put the third generation "N2" Cup 2 tires on it, it offers so much more grip than the original Cup 2.

    I'm not a big fan of the SF90, I feel it's a very expensive "low budget" 918. A SF90 Spider will run you close to 750-800k, whereas 918 was only 950k and that's a 100% carbon hypercar.

LaFerrari all carbon is slower than SF90 advanced technology rigidity in chassis to the point of no difference between coupe / spider.
Mclaren lightweight carbon in house chassis CNC is proven, other like factories are struggling to make carbon CNC perform near Mclaren.
Ferrari's intent on SF90 performance and usability offered for two different buyers. 918 918W package offers same performance.
Senna Viper 765LT are a blast on track and Viper msrp 141k

Novulari612, *cough cough* I mean, Cocoloco, where did you get these information from? Mclaren in-house carbon CNC? Please go check your Senna, the tub comes from CarboTech, the same supplier that supplies to Porsche and other manufacturers. As far as I know, Bugatti Chiron and Koeniggsegg carbon tubs offers the highest rigidity in the market today (in the neighborhood of 60,000nm/in).

918 came out in 2014, SF90 came out in 2021. One is a hypercar that costs 900k and the other one is supercar that cost 750-800k in Spider form. Similar performance between the two sure, but also close in cost without the full carbon fiber body in the SF90.

Why did you change your handle buddy?

On equal tyres the LF would probably be quicker.

Porsche doesn't use carbon tubs except for the 918. Who else are you referring to?

Read my post buddy. does it say the Senna has a Mclaren made tub?
It does say two times in one sentence - see below which references their new factory.
Mclaren lightweight carbon in house chassis CNC is proven, other like factories are struggling to make carbon CNC perform near Mclaren.
The SF90 makes two models using different technology, one built for the track.
918 made two different models but are no different and perform no different.
Thanks for the thought, it's so close to making sense. Buh bye!
