Initially i wasnt sure but the more i look i'm starting to like it more.

I think it would look better it Silver or light Grey, Maybe Grigio Titanio.

Not sure about the wheel design though.

Well done Ferrari. The shot full from the front is impressive to say the least. Looks like it is going eat you alive.

    Cheers,

Ferrari is really going out with a most extreme NA V12 bang possible. I love Ferrari so much right now! It's a GT that will give a SuperVeloce Lamborghini nightmares, just incredible.

I am in love with this car!! I think it will look good in any color, but a dark red/gray/blue would be outrageous.

From my visit , 30% of cars been ordered in yellow and 30% in RC, a few black cars for ultimate stealth mode, and then grey is popular. The photos do not show how much carbon is being used, and the designers suggest a lighter colour so that it is picked out. The pictures do not do it justice still, when you actually see it, it really does look just right. The aluminium fuel cap a lovely detail too. From photos I wondered about the rear exhaust area but it is far more resolved when you see it. The active under tray aero also not shown in photos. There is a lot going on yes, but this is quite some way away from the GT of the F12. Some of course would prefer that more understated style. It is not OTT like a Lambo, but it is clearly an aggressive car. As I say, from just the photos I was undecided, after I saw it, I just though "yeah" . The engineering is impressive, and I am told from good sources that to drive it is unbelievable. I wonder who will get the first road test.

799 seems like a lot for the "limited/special" edition of a car that only has 1200-1500 "standard" versions built each year.

Maybe it has to do with Ferrari stating along with the IPO announcement that they will be increasing production on all cars to accommodate emerging markets. There are new millionaires and billionaires everyday that need to be separated from their $$.

I think it's great and look forward to seeing what it can do on road and track. Sounds epic! One of the best soundtracks in the automotive world - of all time IMHO. 799 is good - hopefully a few more will get out onto the roads and be used.

If you weren't already aware of it, it has rear wheels steering too. It is called 'Passo corto virtuale' and it has been introduced in order to avoid the oversteer created by the larger front tires.
