    Hey guys, sorry for the stupid question but do you notice the USB in the center tunnel charges your phones very slowly? Do you use that it go straight into the lighter adapter?

    I have not measured the F12's USB port, but most likely it is a standard downstream port that delivers something like 500 mA. USB 2.0 charging ports can deliver significantly more than that. A typical phone charger will deliver 900 mA and charging ports can range up to 1500 - 3000 mA.

    That being the case, you will experience significantly faster charging if you put a USB adaptor into the 12V "lighter" port and use that to charge the phone. Of course, you won't get data connectivity.

    I find that my lighter plug doesn't have a snug fit with my charger which is irritating.

    I have no need for a USB so don't know if it supplies connectivity. Assuming it does and the charge rate is unacceptable, then it is conceivable that you could create a hybrid cable that grabs power from the lighter plug and data from the USB port.
