LOL, i realised after i posted and read the rest of the thread. Regardless, my advice still applies. You can always use the time you have before F12 delivery to try and sell the 458 privately. Might be able to get back a good chunk of change. Otherwise, a trade would be your second option.

Unless you wanna keep both cars, but i wouldn't go that route myself. Again...to each his own.

Whatever you do, never buy a car and keep it parked. Whether its a pickup truck or Veyron...drive the wheels off the damn thing. It was engineered and built for that purpose. Paying money to park cars is just stupid IMO.

Ok - so, now that both the F12 and the 599 are on their way to “future classic” status, which one of the 2 provides the best ownership experience? In today’s market, is the F12 worth the $100k+ premium over the 599?

Does everything better and looks better.

Sounds better, is more reliable and is smaller.

    No comparison in my opinion.

    Everything he said ^^^

And to add, the market shares this view. The spread between 599s and F12s is higher today than it was pre-pandemic when the F12 arguably hit the bottom of its depreciation curve.

Absolutely not. It should cost at least double than that.

    Maybe even triple!

My 599 tried to kill me at least twice and I did absolutely nothing wrong.

The sheer weight and inertia of the vehicle on the limit is dangerous.

The gearbox is ****e and suspension is expensive to replace when it fails.

The F12 is absolute perfect. Even though I have a TDF, I would still buy an F12 as I think they are that good!

Had a 599 HGTE and sold only after six months and bought 812sf.
I should’ve test drove it before I bought it.
Could never get used to that super slow transmission and never was able to get those sound I wanted. The 812 is perfection and I’m sure the F12 is close. Huge jump from F1 gearbox to duel clutch. Huge
