F12b seat release strap replacement

Does anyone know how to replace the seat release straps on F12 full electric seats (RSFE)? The straps tore on both my seats, I bought OEM replacement straps, and now I realize I do not know how to install them. I had hoped they could be inserted by popping out the strap housing from the exterior of the seat back but now I wonder if the seat needs to be disassembled somehow. I cannot find instructions anywhere. Thanks!
