Hello everyone, this is an interesting conversation.
The ferrari SP38 is the most beautiful one-off in recent years
for this reason I hope to see on the new model many of the details of the SP38.
    • The headlights.
    • On the sides the turbo air intakes Image Unavailable, Please Login
    • in the back of the car the engine cover (this last detail was taken up of the ferrari 312 prototype:);)).

;-) Let me see what I can do. Beware, though - I don't know how to do Lamborghini as in "what could a Lambo style rear window look like?", I ask myself.

I already think the 812 is a bit too Lambo with its hexagonal rear window and the rear quarter scoops/buttresses a la Huracan.

So what do you all think: if the M is "just" a face lift, do you expect they will keep the doors, rear quarters and greenhouse as is or go for complete new sheetmetal?

I don't know...but for me, the ferrari 488 gtb is a facelift of the 458.

As I said in the previous message I hope to see on the new model many of the details of the SP38.

Competition is tough. It'll eat the facelift for breakfast. :p

    I feel bad for all the innocents who'd pay a 375k on a rehashed 458. :(

The SP38 is definitely beautiful. I'm very curious to see how the new FL will look (I also love the quad tai lights!).

    Hi Dilusha

in any case, this year two new models will be presented
    • Purosangue---the FUV (Ferrari Utility Vehicle as Marchionne used to say)
    • "Big Brother"--the model above the 488 gtb

I think four lights look pretty good on the J50:

..a car that also has headlights similar to the SP38:

With the Pista's more pronounced rear spoiler and more aggressive front bumper, this could easily be a design masterpiece from Ferrari. Fingers crossed!

True. By the way, does someone know the date of the online reveal? Or do we need to wait for Geneva?

Is there anybody who has actually seen the FL or everybody is reporting the tales heard from dealers ? I wonder if dealers saw the car or the media presentation only.

    Well...

the four tail lights are a tradition of Ferrari cars. Ferrari's designers have used two tail lights only with the:
    • 458
    • 599
    • 488
    • F12 berlinetta
Having said that, I am convinced that, in future, they will use the four tail lights;). In fact the Ferrari designers have returned to this configuration with :
    • GTC4
    • 812
Now I look properly the headlights of the Ferrari j50, I prefer the latter.
Because they're more aggressive than the SP38.

in the end I agree with you "With the Pista's more pronounced rear spoiler and more aggressive front bumper, this could easily be a design masterpiece from Ferrari":)

Cross our fingers and trust to ferrari's designers;)

    I unleashed a war :)...

I didn't mention the 348 in my post

I have not forgotten these legendary models...I wanted to explain my ideas.

Anyway, I noticed my mistake "Ferrari's designers have used two tail lights only"....
I apologize and thank you all for the clarification;):)
