    Thanks :)

    Thanks :)

I am about to fit these.

    Front:
    235/40zr18 Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires fitted to a Hamann 9.5J x 18" wheel

    Rear:
285/35r/18 Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires fitted to a Hamann 11.5Jx18" wheel

    I imagine they're a straight swap, as they're made for the 348.

Anyone know if I can retain the wheel spacers (front and rear) after swapping wheels? Otherwise it'll be trial and error :(

A Ferrari owning friend sent me the following message, "
You'd better check to see if they fit as they might be too big. Fronts at 9.5" are 2.5" bigger than standard!!!!"

Can anyone confirm whether these Hamann wheels will fit my 348 or not? I'd hate to spend £1k on them, lug them home, and find they won't fit!

The eBay ad states they were on a 348, andmade for the car. BUT, the question is whether the fronts are too big. Anyone know please?

(Sorry, I have no idea about the offset, and am due to pay for the wheels this week.)

Wheel widths seem bloody wide for a 348 and for the tire widths as well - I'm running 18x8 fronts and 18x10 rears with 235/40 front and 295/35 rears. I know there are folks running 512TR wheels which are 18x10.5 rears. Not saying they won't fit per se but they might have that boy-racer look to them when fitted.

    Cheers

I have 18 x 8 with 225/40's front and 18 x 10 with 265/40's rear on my 348. They fit fine without any problem without any spacers. I would think those sizes would fit without problem. It may depend on offset of the rim. I think with that wide of wheel/tire that you would not need spacers.

So, is the considered opinion that they'll fit if I remove my spacers?

If you give all the details i can say if they fit or not. Only the sizes is not enough the offset / et is important of the wheels. And the size of your spacers.

Aren't you concerned that 9.5" in front could make the car difficult to steer??

The tire makes the ground conntact you won't notice a 1" bigger wheel so much. That is no problem... ok the wheel weights more and normaly it isn't usefull or needed in front for the small 235mm tires.

Just found out that the offsets are 33 front and 73 rear.

Hamann say the wheels will fit, but obviously have no idea about the spacers. They said the wheels fit within the arches, so I wonder whether in fact I can still keep my spacers?

    (Thanks for the number Charlie)

Why so keen to keep the spacers? If the wheels fill the arches OK without them all the better, and you can always bung them on ebay.

You won't need spacers for this wheels. In Front it is hard on the limit or a bit over it. You have to modify the fenders maybe a bit. At the rear its ok.

Thanks guys. I've intention of modifying the bumpers, so the front spacers will come off for starters.

I'll see how it looks with the rear ones still on, and remove these too if necessary.
