i have just switched my f355 off the cats were glowing red ,failure ,so where is the best place/price to purchase these . t
I am having my rotary mechanic who is a great fabricator make me a pair in 321 stainless steel for some weight savings. If you are interested, I can probably have him make another pair. The ones on the market are about $700-800 and probably 304 stainless steel.
I also have a 1995 355. I purchased my test pipes on ebay for around $400. They have been on the car 4 years and no problems.
my cats were purchased new 12ths ago from www.catman.co.uk,so i guess iwill not be asking for my money back mmmmmmmmmmm, thanks for your reply ,i will get onto ebay now regards t also will the test pipes make the check light,s go on ,i believe they run more high temp then original cats.
im interested .can you email me details on my private pm address here, tell i wonder if it will create issues with the check light ,because it operates at a higher temp regards t thank you for your reply t
it'll actually operate at a lower temperature without the cats. I have test pipes on my car both primary and secondary, and there are no check engine lights. mine's a '95 2.7
my mechanic told that the check light will come on mmmmmmmm, any thank you for your reply t i will do more homework tonight t
mechanic has worked for dealer previous 10 yrs .so he knows ,but as most mechanic ,they always keep their experience close to their chest .mmmmmmmmmmm, and as i find here ,they like the customer to do the talking first up to take in the percieved experience they have in motor cars ,then if they find you are not as clever as you make out ,then they take control of the experience ,and generally burn the customer fiancially.(imo) t thanks for your reply sometimes its like having a girlfriend ,if you can be one step ahead of her actions ,then you have control. always have an exit plan mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
