I've always thought that the switchable ABS went out with the 2.7 ECU, but I'm sat here looking at an original UK RHD 5.2 car that *has* the switchable ABS button ('ABS OFF') in the centre console.

Well, either that or it's a 2.7 car with just one MAF...

I'm glad I double checked as I'm ordering a carbon fibre console for the owner... but has anyone else come across a 5.2 car with the switchable ABS before?

I thought that all 355's have switchable ABS. My 1997 Berlinetta certainly has a switch (although I'd almost forgotten that it was there!) Section starting G12 in the owners handbook.

While all F355s have it, only the European models came with the button and the connector to the wiring.
