Kinda cool solution thanks for sharing. What kind of a fuse and how does it connect. Some of us with f1 have a relay that fails closed and causes the pump to stay on and potentially burn out. Some of us have replaced with one that blows open but then your stuck with not transmission might be a good option for us.

Its a direct replacement for a blade fuse and comes in all sorts of ratings. I bought mine in UK but sure someine in US will sell something similar

The little tab pops up when it triggers then you can just push it down (after curung faul of course!).

BTW I had the common melted fuse problem and after replacing it with this it triggered a couple of times usually after the aircon ghad been running for bout 15 mins. I toook both the relays out and gave the contacts a good clean with wet/dry and contact cleaner and then put them back. Its never triggered since :)

On my 348, that fuse burned up in a small little fire at the end of the engine out service while the AC was being recharged. Made for a nice little surprise. Clean out the contacts.
