When you ask for technical help, you should put in as much informaiton as possible about your car. What year? Is it an aftermarket alarm? take a picture of the alarm FOB and post it here, etc.

The early cars 95 or so IIRC did not have an alarm system. The 97's and later did. This system is similar to the 360's alarm, which itself is similar to the porsche 993 alarms of the vintage. If its an aftermarket alarm.. good luck. Have no idea.

If it's the later alarms with the black FOB as the 360.. I have no clue where the LED is in the FOB that could fall out. Did it fall of the circuit board? There should be two metal contacts for the battery. Clean them and then put a new battery in. They should have a "+" on the circuit board. Align this with the battery. I've dropped my fob many times and it should survive a fall from hip height. You may also have to press it multiple times to get the alarm synchronized again.

Jad- Even if you broke the fob, Eric355 (southern France) should be able to copy the contents of the EEPROM in the fob to a working fob. He may even be able to repair the original at the same time. Send him a private message and see what he says.

Your other option is to buy a complete alarm kit, which includes a new Alarm ECU and three matching fobs with a new PIN and that PIN already programmed into the new ECU.

Recommend getting a leather case for whatever fob you eventually use. Cushions the blow if you should happen to drop it. I have one for each of my 3 fobs.
