My suggestion would be to use 3M Adhesive Remover to soften the adhesive. Apply a bit every few minutes and wait. Be patient and let it do its job. The longer you soak the old adhesive the easier it will be to remove and the less chance you'll have of hurting the paint. Then use something like dental floss to "saw through" the softened adhesive to remove the badge. Finish up by removing any remaining adhesive with the 3M. It's possible to use mineral spirits but it takes a lot longer and is less effective. Some people use citrus based adhesive removers but I'm wary of using them in situations where soaking is required since I've seen them soften and damage plastic. The 3M product is made for the purpose and works extremely well.

    Best of luck.

Its secured by two pins with backing clips as well as double sided tape. You need to remove the upper grill section.

Remove the 4 screws at the top of the frame, the grill will be free from the car, once you unclip the centre brake light, careful not to scratch the paint on removal. Now you have access to the backing pin clips. These need to be pried off carefully.

The new badge comes with the tape pre applied. Its a simple 30-60 min swap.
