I am selling a Capristo Stage 3 exhaust. Less than 500 mi. I haven't driven my 355 in 3+ years. Just like new. No funny stuff. The exhaust is still on the car, but I can have it removed in a weeks time.

Street price on a new unit is $4k.

My price $3300 picked up or $3350 shipped.

    YOLO.

I just confirmed with Capristo USA. The same model exhaust works on both 2.7 and 5.2 models. No difference.

Videos do not do this justice. After you install it and hear its glorious F1 sound in person, you won't be thinking about the $3k you just spent. You'll be slapping yourself for not buying one years ago. This exhaust has 0% hype. Every mile driven in a 355 without a Capristo is a wasted mile.

    You only live once.

Maybe an MS Racing exhaust for more weight reduction.

Actually there is a difference. I bought a Capristo off fchat several years back and it was for the 2.7 Motronic, and did not have the bung for the thermoprobe for the 5.2 Motronic. (interesting, because the seller owned a 5.2 Motronic so I assumed it had it) Had to drill and weld a bung for the thermoprobe.

Someone should guy this essentially new Capristo...they won't regret it! ;)

I remember reading something along those lines. I spoke with Erik at Taurino racing and also asked, "are you sure it's the same? Are you sure there isn't an extra bung needed for the 5.2?"

    His answer, "nope."

Anyone can feel free to call and double-check.

As far as I know they weld the bung on to every exhaust unless you specify otherwise.

(I had to request no bypass thermocouple bung when I ordered one for my 2.7 car)

How many different exhaust systems did you go through before the Capristo?

I bought a 355 windshield from Shineken, excellent seller and would recommend him.

Oh and a Cap on a F355 is an absolute necessity!! Unbelievable in small tunnels.

I had the Tubi and Nuvolari before the Cap. No comparison.

Capristo makes a Stage 1,2,3 and a race exhaust (which most don't want).

The stage 3 is a sound 1/3, meaning it is quieter than the Stage 2, which is a sound 2/3, during closed bypass valve operation. When the valve is open, both the Stage 2 and Stage 3 will sound the same.

Thanks for the clarification, it seems a bit confusing. Is your car a 1995?
