Yup that's why I took the shot the roll bar was neat. I love this car to wish I took more pics but I was watching them on the track instead. The yellow turbo f355 was sick and very loud down the straight It made the ride up there worth it. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think I remeber about a year ago seeing a post about that red white and blue challenge car saying that it was stolen and found in a container in China. Can anyone chime in on the subject? Also I believe it called New Hampshire/Mass its home at one point. Is this the same car?
Well Gatorgreg Its Just plain BAD to the bone There was two Turbo F355 there the Yellow one I think both were built by classic coach In NJ they were all together at the track I thought I took more pics but did not. All I know is down the straight it smoke the tom hil car and there were 2 TOM HIL cars there the yellow and blue and the red blue which is the one that was stolen before and the red one is the one that got smoke. by the yellow turboF355 I don't know much about how much hp there push But it was moving and it was very loud on the straight
I have heard both cars are fast and quite reliable. You have got me thinking.....twin turbo 355 CH!!!!!!
Hold on... Sure, the turbo 355 is cool and the spider is neat but lets talk about those 355 CF seats!!!! Wanna sell em?
Awesome pics ........... the 355 rules !!!!! I wonder how well those intercoolers work sitting on top the exhaust heat shield and rising engine bay heat. Behind the rear wheels may be a better spot for them.
Yes it is understatement because the BEAST meaning the Yellow f355 challenge was louder than the 333sp down the straight. But the old and new ford gt and gt 40's was the loudest hands down all Hell broke loose down the straight. the lambos look good but did not sound like good I did not even hear them down or around the track I was not happy with them in the sound department.
Thanks for posting pics of the F355's ... Do you have any more pics of the Tom Hil cars? (both the yellow & blue, and the red & blue) Are any of owners F-Chatters? PM me ...
Well the guy that owns that car won't part with the seats Someone at the car show last year asked him already . He bought that car last year and I think its 98 or 99 with the F1 gear box. the car is in mint shape I mean mint It looks brand new. But one of are sponsors was trying to sell a set on ebay not to long a go for 8000 bucks.
I don't know anybody In the Ferrari World I just love The F355 so as for the Turbos cars I don't know anything about them all I can say is the Yellow F355 challenge that was there was louder than the 333sp and very very fast and I could tell. As for hp or how good the system is I have know clue. But classic coach in NJ they brought the most F355 challenge cars there so they would know the details. they had 4 two being turbo cars they also had 360 gt which was SICK sorry no pics. Heres a pic of there info. in the back ground. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The race car belongs to Dave North. He is a very active member in the Penn-Jersey FCA. The blue F355 is mine. Shawn
