    I may have stumbled across a challenge bumper. I noticed this euro bumper has the tow hook hole like a challenge bumper and no other factory bumper seems to have the hole unless the previous owner cut a hole into this one. Regardless I picked this up for 1300 shipped to me and it only weighs less than 25 pounds Image Unavailable, Please Login

    Hello all, rather than create a new thread, I see you mentioned that the OEM bumper is a GRP composite? I myself can't tell if its a polyurethane or plastic. Can you help with clarification, or how I can tell the difference? Thanks.

    OEM bumpers are fiberglass. GRP, FRP... same term for fiberglass. It is not polyurethane or “plastic” which we normally think of. However, all fiberglass parts are technically considered plastics. FRP stands for Fiber Reinforced Plastic. GRP stands for Glass Reinforced Plastic. Same thing. Thermoset plastic instead of thermoform plastic.
