    There is a 355 Challenge suit on Japan Ebay but they want $3000 for it which is too much for me. For example, I just acquired a 962 crew uniform from the Miller 962 Al Holbert race team for $250. (I also collect Porsche 956, 962 and 917 stuff). I asked Mr Kim about his suit and has said he thinks he gave it to a friend but that he would look. Would be cool if he still had his helmet. Never thought about that. There was a schedoni bag on Ebay a little while ago but it too was a bit much for just a display piece. It also claimed to be from the 355 series but nowhere on the bag did it say that. Thanks for posting! If I find anything 348 Challenge related I will let you know. I bought some of my posters from this website and I see they have a few 348 pieces.     This is great stuff! I've owned a couple of 348CH race cars over the years and have acquired a few items (some rather odd, like a red leather Schedoni 348 Challenge fanny pack I bought new in Monaco years ago), but nothing like the lot you've assembled.
    When my house burned down 16 years ago, a yellow 348 Challenge polo shirt was caught up in the blaze, but since the logo remained intact I cut it out, had the edges bound, and sewed it onto my race suit, where it remains to this day. At least it wasn't a total loss!

    It's a good Hinchman two-piece single-layer NOMEX suit, perfect for hot days.

    NASCAR's Bobby Labonte and I are the same size so on colder days I have a couple of suits he once wore...

    They're inexpensive, ~$400, and some of the proceeds goes to the charity of his choice.

    I don't have any suits that say Ferrari. :D

    Erik, those crew shirts and uniforms are a very cool part of your collection.

    No, it wasn't Dale but Bobby and his brother Terry were very skilled and focused drivers who didn't participate in the "show." I'm surprised that Bobby parted with his Spirit of Daytona suit which he wore in the 2006 Daytona 24 Hours...

    NASCAR drivers are generally tiny thin fellows with 38" chests and 30" waists. Bobby is 5'9" (my height too) with the same chest and waist measurements as me (before lunch :) ) so his suits fit me just fine.

    The model was an advertising piece that they had on display in some stores that sold Lowenbrau. I am told there were not many made and even fewer that survived 30 years later. It's actually heavier than I expected. I think it has a plastic chassis underneath a cardboard body.

    Just picked up 40 feet of glass display cases like the one below for $500 ($50 each). Looks like I will soon have a place to show off my diecast models and other precious treasures - at least to me.
