Hi, guys, my name is Rumen and I am new here. I have a '94 F355 (2.7) and since now I haven't got any problems with the cooling. However I am located in Bulgaria and here on the summer sometimes it gets to 40 degrees and because sometimes I am using my car for city use, I would like to do something to help the cooling if possible. I am sonsidering buying 2 fans for a challenge car, which should be more powerful than the standart ones. Is this making any sence or they will not work good for a road car?

    thanks for your replies!

Oh they work but you will have to make sure you put in the longer plastic spacers(I think they come with the fan)The challenge fan sits closer to the rad because the electric motor shaft is longer than the stock shaft in order to accommodate the thicker fan. The fan shaft will rub on the core and cause it to leak. The challenge fans move a lot more air and are a little more noisy. If you have a lot of heat there, then make sure to get the challenge grill.

Thanks for your answer. The car actually had a challenge grill when I bought it, but I then replaced it with a standart one, because I don't really like how the back end looks with the challenge grill. As I said I don't really have any problems with overheating, but I thought - if the challenge fans will cool better and work fine on the standart car, then - why shouldn't I get them? :)

You don't really need them. They use them on the challenge cars because they cool more while making pit stops and they are manually activated by the driver.
