    I've got a new Challenge rack that I will be installing soon. The pump is already on. What are the main difference between the stock rack and the Challenge? Is it faster? More feeling in the steering? More mechanical feel and less assist?

    just confirmed with a friend the CH rack is 2.5 turns lock to lock as opposed to 2.75 turns lock to lock with the standard 355 rack.

    So it's faster. :)

    No...that's not what I said.

    The LATER 1998 update rack is faster at 2.5 turns lock to lock

    Yup, only became available as part of the 1998 update kit

    Are you talking about the Challenge rack or an updated rack for the street cars?

    Same rack as F355 Fiorano (only), afaik. Would fit all F355.

    So the Challenge rack is faster, does it have a less assisted feel compared to the stock rack?

    "Feel" is much the same; but steering is a little more direct.
    I had both racks in my old 355 Ch during my ownership.
