    hi guys,

just joined the online community today. am on my second ferrari now and was going to post some photos from the local f-car sunday club outing but, unfortunately, the car wasn't ready when i went to pick it up from the dealer.

i took it in a month ago for a check up and after settling the bill, i noticed the driver-side door did not close properly, with that nice crisp thunk sound am used to (the other side is fine). as it turned out, the mechanic had removed the pannel to fix the inner handle that was apparently coming loose and now the door sits a 1/2 of an inch lower at the latch end. you can actually feel the play if you pulled upward at that end. what's interesting, even though am dealing directly with an authorized ferrari dealer, the mechanic first said may be i need to change the door prackets, but then after a glance, he added that he did not know how to realign the door. he suggested taking the car to a body shop. so, now i'm inclined to do it myself. anyone had a similar issue? i would appreciate any start up tips.

    sam
