F355 Engine wanted

Charlie - sorry no help on the engine front - do you need it for your Pirelli Ferrari Open campaign? I'd be interested to hear how your season has gone.

I intend to get along for the Brands Hatch rounds,
Races 5 & 6 September 2/3 Brands Hatch

Others may be interested in the other remaining rounds
Race 7 September 16 Thruxton
Race 8 October 7 Snetterton (right up your street, Pete)

 

I'll be there, I was last year as well, I sort of knew Ted Reddick but I don't think he does it anymore

Just a thought - are these engines the same globally ?

If so it may be worth asking in the 355 section and bringing one in from the States

 

Charlie, can the old unit be rebuilt or is it totaly lunched?.....I've got a couple of 308qv motors if you want to give the other guys an advantage

 

QV usually keep one built up as a spare & usually available on an exchange basis. No idea as to what history might be available but I'd say you can trust whatever they tell you - I've always found them to be very straight. Give them a call & see what they have - Mike or Phil

Engine is the same. Electronics are different. Quite a few spares over here but I know of no one that keeps rebuilts in stock.
