    Community,

I have a 95 355 GTB and I replaced the right manifold last June `03. Well, here we are in July of `04 and it has cracked again. So Ok, burn me once (no pun intended) and you won't see me again...No more fectory headers for me.

So does anybody know what a pair of Tubi headers cost? Are there any other brand of aftermarket headers that I should consider?

Thanks in advance for your help.

What source can supply me with Tubi manifolds at 4K for my 95 F355?

I'm also upgrading the cats (already installed Tubi silencer), but need recommendations on Tubi vs. Hyper Flow as far as an actual low back pressure cat and not a smelly test pipe.

BTW I'll be selling my original manifolds and cats with only 6000 mi.

    Thanks,

    Greg

Japanese companies Saclam and Ohnishi Heat Magic make headers. The Ohnishi one is full titanium i believe. i don't have much info on them and they seem hard to get unfortunately. just nice to know there's alternatives, though relatively few.

a translation on the Saclam ones, as pictured below:

"The stainless steel pipe of major diameter 42.7mm was used, with 4in-1 structure, trial manufacture was begun at primary length 850mm. They are the specifications of medium speed limits concern." they also go to say that the stock diameter is 38mm and the primary lenght is 750mm.

the ones pictured are stainless steel by Saclam. Ohnishi Heat Magic however does make titanium headers, which you can easily see by the color gradient scale in the light...that rainbow effect that titanium has.

Guys, the ones pictured look fantastic, but they DO NOT HAVE ANY HEAT SHIELDING! Unless you're running a track car, you MUST have heat shielding, bc the cats and traffic are going to heat these things to unreal temperatures and they will literally melt your alternator and all the wiring within one foot of them.

Please check past threads on this. Tubi's are great and all but where's the heat shielding?

The place to go is QV London (I just got mine there) or Quicksilver in England, and they both come with great warranties and use the factory heat shielding - no one I have ever heard has had problems with these.

David, you might want to re-read Dave Helm's post. I'm guessing that he has replaced more 355 headers than there are 355s!
