Hello , Im Michael from Berlin,
first I would like to apologize for my bad english.
FChat is the most important Ferrari forum for me, because of my bad english Ím a reader only, until now

I have a big problem with my 355 GTS F1

After changing the clutch flange and Bearing Ím desperate.
At first it starts normal, so I bleed the the system (without sd2),
than I start the self calibration (pis, io and octopus; d41 wsm).
At the end of the io calibration the slow down light begins to blinking and the gearbox warning light going on.

Now, if I put the key in pos.II, the Gearbox light is on and it BEEP (4 Times).
I can only shift in 1, 2 and R……if I start the Motor I only shift in 1 and 2.

I believe to test everything, but I dońt find the solution.

    - Pressure Sensor is working
    - Speedo Sensor is working
    - Octopus calibration is okay and confirmed with one beep
    - Relais and Fuses all okay
    - vescovinis are exchanged with the duo cat ecu from ScudIng Swiss

Headaches give me the slow down blinking if I the motor is running (combined with gearbox warning light).
Im sure the slow down blinking in combined with the gearbox warning light are related errors.

Thanks a lot of your help
    Kind regards from Germany

    Michael

No idea what your problem is, but when my mechanic changed the entire clutch system on my F1 car, no SD computer was needed. The thing calibrated itself. The clutch went into place and we could hear the self learn process taking place. It’s been flawless for the past 6 years. We replaced everything related to the clutch at the time.

Yes, any anal people out there, I know, we didn’t reset the 30 year old clutch measurement algorithm that isn’t worth much. Have loved the system ever since.

Michael, your English is fine. I am guessing that you do have an SD2 even though the text says without SD2.

When you car is idling, you cannot shift into 3/4/5/6 gear because you cannot start out from a stop in those high gears.
If your car ignition switch is on and the engine is off, you can shift into all gears with the SD2. If you cannot, then one of the sensor is probably bad.
If the Gearbox fault light is flashing, your system pressure is too low. You need to figure out why. Possible problems are pump, pump motor, and accumulator, or a bad solenoid. There are troubleshooting instructions to figure out which ( @flash32 )
If the SDL light is on even though the engine is cold, clear all error codes with an OBD2 scanner.

    Good luck.

If you can, provide timing of pump cycles with key on/ engine off - how many minutes off and how many seconds ( must be accurate) pump stays on
    Repeat with engine on

    Thank you,
I have unfortunately no SD1 or SD2 Tester, but a Texa Nemo with Supercars.
Today I use the Texa to made into the Motronic 5.2 ECU, I delete the Cat failure from the ECU, so the Slow Down Problem is solved.

The Gearbox Warning Light is on, it beep 4 times. I can only shift in R & 1 and 2, without and with running Engine.

    The Accumulator is also new

If I turn the ignition on the pump is running 7 seconds. Than I can shift 2 times before the pump is running again.

That means your pump (hydraulics and motor) is bad. You should be able to do three shifts before the pump is on again.

I need the cycle times as stated above ..get in close door ..turn key , so no start car and wait for at 2 cycles and let me know times in mins of pump off

Then do the same with engine running

If you want to talk on the phone ..please DM me and we can set up a call ..always better than emails
