Hi all, What is the opinion on the F355 belt service interval now these cars are moving on from regular drivers to weekend cars? I seem to hear various opinions from over 3 years means immediate failure. To replace every two years / they’re fine to 5 + years if not a daily driver ! I should add I’m also a Porsche fan and it sounds like the infamous IMS, RMS, Bore Score debates all over again! The Porsche’s are all ticking time bombs wrongly and I assume the same is the case with the F355? Also own a bullet proof early 996 and 997 a cab!
This has been asked and answered 1000 times here. It’s more than the belts, Most would advise you around 5 years. I’d settle in this weekend and read all the threads you can in this section from 200x and go forward in time. Very entertaining, huge benefit in what you learn, and gets you fully ready for ownership. Should take you a week... Test next Thursday. Welcome to the party. Robb
