    I am looking at purchasing a F355. I would like to purchase one with the F1 transmission but I am concerned with any problems that these systems may have. I have been advised that if these systems play up they are expensive to fix. I have been told that if F1 pump requires replacement they cost in excess of $15K, as they cannot be repaired. Has anyone experienced problems with the F1 transmission on their 355.

    What are the pro's and con's of this system.

    Warning you in advance.....you will get more sense in the technical threads.
    btw, I also think you need to be aware of gearbox damage caused by a failing pump.

    why worry about something that has'nt happened ?
    buy a 6 speed with a good gear box then drop a valve...
    nows agood time a lot cheap cars around just get it checked out best you can but no ones got a crystal ball. happy hunting.
