Wanted F355 Gearbox F1

I have one going cheap in Australia. Freight might be a little expensive. cheers Angelo

 

The 99 manual transmissions are identical to the 99 F1 transmissions.

 

Where did you get that info Terry?
All the stuff I saw said they are differant.

In all the years I have been on here I likely know better than to question you which is why I am curious .

Upgrades were made to the F355 gearbox for F1, but those upgrades were applied to all the F355 transmissions built after that. All the F1 and 3 pedal transmissions for F1 Ferraris are identical except for a plugs for unneeded holes for various sensors. If you go through the parts catalog, you will see what I mean. We have now had conversions done on 360s, 575s, and 599s (nobody has done a 612 so far that I have seen) using the original F1 transmission because of the much lower number of 3 pedals built. Could be done on the F355, too, except there are many more 3 pedal than F1 F355s.
