Does anybody know the best way to remove the lens on the glovebox light? I've tried levering it with a screwdriver but it's not budging much and I really don't want to break it.

I presume there are some lugs under the lip that need depressing but I would rather avoid breaking it into 15 separate pieces before finding out where they are!

What glovebox? No place to put any gloves in my 355! Do you mean the trunk?

Mine's one of the very early 95 models, pre airbags. I have a glovebox where the later models have the panel covering the passenger's airbag.

As I very rarely carry passengers and I don't give a damn about any that I do I'm more than happy with the glovebox! I'd be even happier if I could get the lens out without snapping it :-(

I looked through my shop manual and don't see any with out airbags, but if it's similar to most of the other interior lights, just put 2 small screwdrivers into the narrow ends and press the tabs in while lifting. That only my best guess, proceed with caution :).
