    My guess is Covid and all the money everyone has. When I had my GTS around 2016/2017, I couldn't even get 85k for it. Everyone bitched and moaned about the engine out on the 355. Now that they're in 6 figure territory I guess it doesn't matter as much.

    7500 bucks for maintenance isn't a big deal when you consider a windshield on newer cars is 5k.

    Or a set of brakes is 20k plus.

    Or a transmission failure is 30-40k

    Convertible top failures are in the 10s of thousands on some cars.

    Heck a headlight can easily be 3k.

    Agreed.

    Will acknowledge that the price movements have likely priced out many casual enthusiasts. The difference between an $89k driver, gated, with 30k miles and the new price of $150k+- gobbled up the service charge in scale but still blocks out that person.

    Everything is up right now and these have risen as well… not sure how long that will last but either way I’m starting my search. My reason is I always wanted one but always went newer.
